  I would not recommend using this physician unless he gets rid of his office staff. I was seen in an emergency care clinic and diagnosed with a severe kidney infection on Sept 30th. They also found lymph nodes swollen all the way down one side of my body and recommended that I have some test done by my primary right away to rule out cancer. My husband and I are new to the area and so they told us to see Dr. Ansara because they were friends with him and could share all the info that they found on me. I set an appointment but due to my husbands new job did not yet have all the insurance info. I tried calling and telling them that I would pay cash and then later submit it myself to insurance to be reimbursed. The insurance would go retro active to Sept 30th. and my appointment was Oct. 15th it was just taking awhile for my husbands employer to get everything to Atena and this too was explained to them. They still refused me my appointment even after my husbands HR department called them and verified I would have coverage retro actively and was willing to pay cash same day! I explained to them that I am really sick and loosing weight by the day because I can't keep food down. I am 5'8" and as of today only weigh 125 lbs. I also told them that I had a kidney infection and possibly something worse like cancer. I told them I was really scared and needed to get in as soon as I could so I could start getting better but they didn't care. I think it is really wrong and unethical to refuse someone for no reason at all. I have insurance and I was willing to pay cash same day but they don't care about people. A doctors office should be caring and concerned with its patients well being and their office is not. When people are sick and scared the last thing they want to hear is no you aren't good enough to be seen. They told me I could reschedule when my insurance card showed up but not only am I really sick and need to see someone soon, but I don't trust this office to care about my well being. Not the kind of doctor I would want to see!!!
